My Story of Creating Radio Hamkar

Between 2020 and 2022, while working at IREEN, I had the opportunity to gain experience in a non-Iranian company. This exposure gave me valuable insights into the advantages and challenges of working in an international environment.

My journey took another leap when I joined ADLAS in 2023. Here, I deepened my understanding of how businesses operate in Central Europe, particularly in DACH countries. These experiences, combined with the lessons I had learned earlier in my career, allowed me to identify key areas where our work culture in Iran, especially among the younger workforce, could improve.

This realization inspired me to set a personal mission: “Help the Iranian young workforce to have a better life.” Every day, I strive to contribute toward this goal.

One significant step in this direction has been the creation of the Radio Hamkar podcast. Through this platform, I address recurring issues I’ve observed in the Iranian work culture, particularly in areas like decision-making, communication, and workplace dynamics. The aim is twofold:

  1. To bring awareness to these challenges.
  2. To offer practical solutions, drawing from my own experiences, insights shared by senior colleagues, and established knowledge in the field.

Episode 2: Personal Projects During Working Hours

The second episode tackles a common question: Is it okay to work on a personal project during working hours? I shared my perspective on this topic and explained why this practice is detrimental. It not only undermines productivity but also hampers opportunities for personal and career growth in the long run.

Radio Hamkar aims to shine a light on workplace challenges and provide actionable solutions to help the younger workforce in Iran achieve greater success and satisfaction.
